Growing up, I dabbled in all kinds of hobbies, always wondering what I was meant to do. That changed during a summer RV trip to California when I brought along a camera I had just gotten for my birthday. I took photos everywhere, from sunsets over the Golden Gate to the streets of LA, but one moment in Malibu stuck with me. After a surf session, a surfer offered to pay me for any good shots I got of him. I ended up selling him 15 photos, and something clicked. This wasn’t just a hobby anymore.
A year later, on another RV trip through Arizona, I picked up a camcorder and filmed my first ever video. It was rough, but I realized video could tell a story that a single image sometimes couldn’t.
I didn’t know it back then, but those early trips were shaping my path. Today, capturing moments isn’t just about creating something cool. It’s about giving people something to look back on, something they can feel. The kind of memory that lives beyond a passing thought. That’s what drives me.
